This might actually be even more stupendous to someone than my Fuschia or the Calla Lilly that bloomed yesterday. I used to have a beautiful patch of Lily of the Valley but that area was overrun with poison ivy that was killing all of the Lily of the Valley and the trees. I eventually had to put that black landscaping stuff down and because that stuff is so ugly I threw some of the stones on top of it to make it blend in with the stone wall. Well I am out planting and look at what crept it’s way through the black paper and the rocks one little teeny Lily of the Valley. I wonder who sent that, along with a message to hang in there?
My mother’s favorite, thus my favorite, Lily of the Valley. I’ve been wondering if the patch of them survived, as late as today, but I was afraid to ask. That’s very nice to see, especially right now. As I always tell anybody who will listen, your yard has some really mystical qualities. Very nice things happen there, just when they’re least expected. Thanks for sharing that picture.
